God is still Healing

PRAYER - "Prayer for Divine Healing"

Miriam and Aaron spoke against their brother, Moses, criticizing him and challenging his authority. God Himself called all three to the Tabernacle door, where He came in a pillar of a cloud. God was angry, and vindicated Moses, smiting Miriam with leprosy. Aaron panicked and pleaded with Moses to have mercy. Moses prayed for God to heal Miriam, and seven days later, she was healed. This first occurrence proves for all time that effective prayer can and will bring divine healing.
Numbers 12:13 - "And Moses cried unto the LORD, saying, Heal her now, O God, I beseech thee."

PRINCIPALS - "Five Offerings" Burnt Offerings (Leviticus 1) were primary sacrifices for universal sin. Meat (food) Offerings (Leviticus 2) were a gift offering. Peace Offerings (Leviticus 3) were fellowship offerings shared between God (at the altar), the priest and the donor. Sin Offerings (Leviticus 4) covered sins of ignorance - unknown sins. Trespass Offerings (Leviticus 5) covered sins that were knowingly commited.

Leviticus 4:2 - "...If a soul shall sin through ignorance against any of the commandments of the LORD... then let him bring for his sin, which he hath sinned, a young bullock without blemish unto the LORD for a sin offering."

Principles - "Lies and Deceptions"

Throughout the Pentateuch (the first five books, written by Moses), an almost countless array of sins are condemned. But among the reasons for the five major offerings for sins, lies, deception and bearing false witness ranked among the worst of all. The God of truth hates lies, deception and false testimony. Liars are reckoned among the worst of sinners. Only speak truth.

Leviticus 6:2-6 - "If a soul sin, and commit a trespass against the LORD, and lie unto his neighbour... or hath deceived his neighbour; or ...sweareth falsely; ...he shall bring his trespass offering unto the LORD."

PROPHECIES - "Compensation for the Priests"

God stipulated that the priests should keep a portion of the burnt offerings, meat offerings, peace offerings, sin offerings, and trespass offerings for themselves. Prophetically, this a divine precedent that all ministers of all ages should be compensated for their services in the ministry.

Leviticus 7:35 - "This is the portion ...out of the offerings of the LORD made by fire, in the day when he presented them to minister unto the LORD in the priest's office; Which the LORD commanded to be given them of the children of Israel, ...by a statute for ever throughout their generations.

PRAYER - "Moses Argues With God and Wins"

Poor Moses sent twelve spies to survey the Promised Land, but only Joshua and Caleb had faith. The others turned all Israel against invading, provoking God to disinherit Israel and start anew with Moses' family. But Moses powerfully interceded. God spared them. Intercession sometimes requires heroic determination.

Numbers 14:15 - "Now if thou shalt kill all this people as one man, then the nations which have heard the fame of thee will speak, saying, Because the LORD was not able to bring this people into the land which he sware unto them, therefore he hath slain them in the wilderness."

PRINCIPALS - "The Horns of the Altars"
Both the Brazen Altar and the Altar of Incense had horns on the four corners. Horns on a creature are considered its most exalted feature. Several scriptures say the horns of the righteous shall be exalted. Most appropriately, the priests applied the blood of sacrifices to the horns to sanctify them to the Lord. Sanctify your best features to God.

Leviticus 9:8-9 - "Aaron therefore went unto the altar, and slew the calf of the sin offering, which was for himself. ...and he dipped his finger in the blood, and put it upon the horns of the altar."

PRINCIPLES - "No Booze in the Ministry"

Is it too much for God to ask His ministers to stay sober? Why this scourge of drunkenness among professing Christian ministers today? Why should a Pastor's office have a "wet bar?" God demands that preachers stay sober.

Leviticus 10:8-10 - "And the LORD spake unto Aaron, saying, Do not drink wine nor strong drink, thou, nor thy sons with thee, when ye go into the tabernacle of the congregation, lest ye die: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations: And that ye may put difference between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean."

PROPHECIES - "The Cross Leads to His Glory"

The tabernacle furniture was positioned in the pattern of the Cross. BOTTOM - Altar (Repentance.) CENTER - Laver (Water Baptism.) LEFT, Candlestick (Baptism of the Holy Ghost.) RIGHT, Shewbread (The Word - bread of life.) TOP - Incense (Prayer.) They led through the Veil to the Ark of the Covenant. When we repent, get baptized, receive the Holy Spirit, study the Word and pray, we will discover the glory of God in the holiest place.

Leviticus 9:6 - "...Moses said, This is the thing which the LORD commanded that ye should do: and the glory of the LORD shall appear unto you."

 PRAYER - "Useless Prayer"

WARFARE
Most people will not acknowledge the fact that "God is angry with the wicked every day," (Psalm 7:11). Unrepented sin separates us from Him. It really cuts off our communications with God. The only prayer God really wants to hear from a sinner is repentance. Sincere repentance opens His heart and ears again.Jeremiah 7:9,10 - "Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other gods whom ye know not; and come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name?"  Let's read the story. Bible

PRINCIPALS - "Abimelech of Gerar"

Touch Not Think Not
Abimelech took Sarah from Abraham. God shut the wombs of the women in his household. Then God told Abimelech he was a dead man if he touched Sarah - she was a man's wife. Abimelech asked Abraham why he said she was his sister. "I thought they would slay me for my wife's sake." Abimelech returned Sarah unharmed, gave Abraham sheep, oxen, menservants, womenservants and a thousand pieces of silver, then said, "my land is before thee, dwell where it pleaseth thee." Divine intervention!
Genesis 20:7 - "...restore the man his wife; for he is a prophet." Let's read the story. Bible

PRINCIPLES - "The Glory of Barrenness"

Believe it or not, there is glory in barrenness. Barrenness exemplifies the limitations of the flesh, but God's power overrides it. Barren Sarah bore Isaac. Rebekah bore twins. Rachel bore Joseph. Hannah bore Samuel. Elizabeth bore John. God favors the barren. He who sent Manna from the sky sends fruitfulness to the faithful.
Isaiah 54:1 - "Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD." Let's read the story. Bible
False Teachings
PROPHECIES - "Hagar's Exile"

Islam diabolically contradicts many Biblical truths concretely established for 2000 years before Mohammed was born. The Bible says Ishmael still lived with Abraham and Sarah at thirteen. The Koran says angel Gabriel took Hagar and suckling baby Ishmael on a flying horse (Al-Buraq) to a well named ZamZam at Mecca, Saudi Arabia where they say Abraham built the Kaaba (house of Allah) around a meteorite stone, on a foundation built by Adam and Eve. Never happened!
Genesis 17:25 - "Ishmael his son was thirteen years old, when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin."

When a king grants your petition

PRAYER - "Esther's Petition"

Haman negotiated with Ahasuerus, King of Persia and Media, to have all Jews in the kingdom killed on the 13th of the month. Mordecai saw the decree posted and sent word to Esther that she must intervene. All the Jews fasted and prayed for three days with great consternation. Esther and her maidens fasted likewise. Miraculously, the King totally reversed his decision, and killed Haman instead.

Esther 5:6 - "What is thy petition? and it shall be granted thee: and what is thy request? even to the half of the kingdom it shall be performed." Read the story. Bible

PRINCIPALS - "Eber the Hebrew"

The world knows the Jews as Hebrews. The Hebrew language is the only spoken language ever to return from extinction (in the 19th century), after being eradicated during the diaspora (dispersion) of Israel. Hebrew continued to be a major written language since antiquity, largely because of the Old Testament. Today, it is the official language of the State of Israel. The word "Hebrew" derives from Eber, great-grandson of Shem, (Noah's son), and grandfather of Abraham. Jesus spoke from heaven to Saul in the Hebrew tongue.
Genesis 14:13 - "...Abram the Hebrew. Read the Story. Bible

PRINCIPLES - "Just Do It!"

Talk is cheap. It doesn't cost anything to talk. But truly living for God costs something. Jesus said a wise man will both hear His sayings and DO THEM. A fool hears but does not DO. James said that if we know to do good and do it not, we sin. God's will is not hard to do. Just do it!
Matthew 7:21 - "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven."
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? Read the story. Bible

PROPHECIES - "Jehovah Jireh"

"The Lord - Provider" is the name God revealed to Abraham on Mount Moriah. Testing his loyalty, God instructed Abraham to sacrifice his only son, Isaac, on an altar. When God saw Abraham's obedience, His angel halted the sacrifice AND provided a ram caught in a bush to sacrifice in Isaac's place. The lamb foreshadowed God again providing salvation for His saints when Jesus returns to Mount Moriah.
Genesis 22:14 - "Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the LORD it shall be seen." Read the story. Bible
